Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, manage, and automate CI/CD pipelines and release processes for high-impact AI and automotive software projects. You’ll collaborate with a global team to streamline code integration, testing, version control, and artifact delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for efficient builds, merges, and nightly runs.
- Automate testing, including smoke tests and test case integration into pipelines.
- Maintain Git repositories, manage access control, and oversee release processes.
- Automate release pipelines with quality gates and version control on release branches.
- Ensure robust collaboration between suppliers and internal teams.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Python, Groovy, and Bash.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
- Deep knowledge of Git, branching, tagging, and version control.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, pipeline scripting).
- Hands-on with Docker and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with build systems: Bazel, CMake, GNU Make.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management in release cycles.
- Exposure to embedded software/automotive development lifecycle.
Preferred Background
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in DevOps and release engineering.
- Strong communication, curiosity for innovation, and a passion for quality automation.
- Interest in upskilling (Udemy, Coursera, Udacity supported).
